Interview 2
1. What is your most favourite song and why do you believe that it is better than other songs?
My favourite song is Thriller by Michael Jackson. It is the songs I enjoy listening to all the time and it never gets boring for me. I think it’s the better song because of the theme and the storyline, not to mention the scary zombie faces used as well. I very much like the beat and the dancing as well.
2. What would you say has been the most influential genre at modern times?
I think there are all good influences in the music industry; there isn’t a specific genre that stands out as being “special”. I always say that all genre’s have a good side and a bad side to them.
3. What do you think makes a music video look good?
The editing is what I look out for in a music video, I want to see various techniques that are used in technology that make the video stand out more and makes me think about it as well. I also think the performance of the artist in the video is always good to look out for too.
4. How important is music for you?
It isn’t life dependant for me. I always listen to music when I am bored or working so it keeps me occupied. I also watch some videos on TV whilst waiting for the adverts on my main show to finish.
5. What do you hate in songs and music videos?
I hate seeing artists singing with auto tuned being used on their voice. It highlights their mediocrity and also blocking the people that may have potential in the music industry. It’s not right placing people that can’t sing in a video, there are a lot of people with strong voices that deserve a chance to sing professionally.
