Characterisation is an essential part of making a music video. It allows the audience to understand the genre of the music video and also understand the role of the artist. I have researched and analysed several characteristics of different artists so that I could have an Idea of what kind of characteristics I would like my actor in the music video to have. I have looked at artists with different genres so that I could know the full code and conventions for each. I focused on a specific music video that would help me decide on the type of characteristics I would like my actors to act.
